HT-10 is Hawk Performance's motorsports friction compound, built for high torque output and a 300°F to 1300°F operating window with its optimal range between 500°F and 1100°F. Hawk rates it for smooth, controllable initial bite with excellent modulation and a good static and dynamic coefficient, so pedal feel stays predictable as temperature climbs through a session. The compound runs on iron and steel rotors and is not compatible with carbon ceramic discs. Pad thickness is 0.650 in, and Hawk specifies a progressive motorsports bed-in at medium, high and race speeds without dragging the brakes or coming to a full stop, followed by roughly 20 minutes of cooling before the car is used again.
