This Hawk Talon front brake kit supplies two cross-drilled and slotted 300mm vented rotors together with one axle set of HPS 5.0 front brake pads, so the friction pair is matched at the factory rather than assembled from separate lines. The rotors are cast in G3000 grade iron to OE dimensions and vane count, carry Hawk's DTC curved hook slot pattern to wipe the pad face clean and vent gas and debris, and wear a black Magni coating that clears the 240 hour ISO-9227 salt spray requirement. HPS 5.0 is a Ferro-Carbon compound with a 100 to 750°F operating window and a 100 to 550°F optimal range, giving higher torque and shorter stopping distances than OE friction while staying quiet, ABS compatible and easy on rotor life. Every rotor is balanced and CNC machined in North America.
