The pillow-ball upper mount replaces the standard rubber mount for a more direct steering feel and sharper chassis response. Built around HKS's single-tube monotube design with a dual preload valve system — evolved from the prior generation to minimize unnecessary damping force at higher piston speeds, improving ride comfort without sacrificing performance. Damping is 30-way adjustable; spring rates are 8.0 kg/mm front and 6.0 kg/mm rear.
