The HKS Carbon Brace replaces the factory transverse pipe in the rear cabin with a carbon brace developed with Graphite Design, tuned to add rigidity while retaining enough flex that ride quality is not sacrificed. The rear set comprises one carbon brace, bracket A left and right, bracket B left and right, four M8 hex flange bolts, four M5 hex socket bolts and four M8 large washers. Brackets are aluminum in a colorless anodized finish with a laser engraved HKS logo, and inner covers keep the installed look close to factory. Mounting uses the existing points, with HKS specifying 28 N·m at the pivot mounting support, 20 N·m at the transverse pipe bolt, 3 N·m for the M5 bolts and 29.5 N·m for the M8 bolts. HKS validated the front and rear braces together and recommends fitting the full set.
