The HKS Super Fire Racing M40 is a JIS-type iridium spark plug with an NGK 8 equivalent heat range, a broad-application plug for tuned Japanese turbo and naturally aspirated engines (RB20/RB25/RB26, SR20, 1JZ/2JZ, and similar) using a JIS φ14 gasket seat. The 0.6 mm iridium center electrode and platinum-chip outer electrode lower firing voltage for strong ignition, with thermal-edge anti-fouling. Sold as a 10-pack (wholesale case); a typical engine needs one plug per cylinder.
