The shell is nail tough acrylic that shrugs off impacts and holds its finish, and the aerodynamic shape reads as a factory styling piece rather than an accessory. Installation is a snap with no drilling and no special hardware: it mounts in minutes on 3M automotive grade adhesive tape, included in the box.
