MagnaFlow's California Grade converter is a CARB compliant replacement for the front forward bank converter on the transverse 3.5L V6, the unit on the radiator side, and it bolts into the factory location without cutting or welding. The round spun body measures 11.5 in overall with an 8.375 in converter body over a ceramic substrate, built from 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless steel MIG welds. A 4.125 in flange inlet feeds a 2 in flange outlet, there are no oxygen sensor ports, and a crush ring gasket with five bolts is included. CARB Executive Order D-193-190 makes it legal for installation in all 50 states, and the vehicle engine family number should be matched against the underhood emissions label before ordering.
