MagnaFlow's California Grade converter is a CARB compliant replacement for the driver side converter on the 5.4L V8 and bolts into the factory location without cutting or welding. Two catalyst beds run in series inside a 32.375 in assembly, a 7.875 in front bed and an 11 in rear bed, fed by a 2.5 in flange inlet and exiting through a 2.5 in pipe connection outlet. The spun body uses 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless steel MIG welds over a ceramic substrate, with two ports for the pre and post converter oxygen sensors and inlet mounting hardware included. CARB Executive Order D-193-177 makes it legal for installation in all 50 states.
