MagnaFlow 5481108 is the front, primary three-way catalytic converter assembly for the 4.6L Explorer and Mountaineer, carried under CARB Executive Order D-193-177. It is a single dual-inlet, single-outlet unit with two spun ceramic catalyst bodies of 9 in and 11 in, four sensor ports and 2.5 in flanged inlets and outlet, measuring 54.5 in overall. Construction is 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with 308 stainless MIG welds and 410 stainless barbed hangers. Gaskets and hardware are included, and the spun body design installs without cutting or welding. It is legal for sale and use in all 50 states, including California, Colorado, New York and Maine, where the vehicle's Executive Order number matches.
