The MagnaFlow 447178 is a California Grade CARB compliant direct fit catalytic converter for 1997 to 1998 Ford 4.6L trucks and vans, installing with no cutting or welding required. It is built from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing for smooth exhaust flow and a single laser fusion weld that reduces leak points. CARB Executive Order D-193-176 makes it legal for sale and use in all 50 states, and the box includes two flat washers, a Torca clamp, two bolts and two nuts for a complete install.
