MagnaFlow 5582610 is a California Grade, CARB compliant direct-fit catalytic converter for the driver side front (Bank 2) position on the 3.6L V6, carrying CARB Executive Order D-193-199 and New York certification. The spun body replicates the factory converter shape and is closed with a single laser fusion weld, which removes the seam that commonly leaks on fabricated replacements, while the compact, low mass shell comes up to operating temperature quickly. High strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and 308 stainless MIG welds resist corrosion, and mandrel-bent tubing preserves the original flow geometry so fuel trims and drivability stay where the factory set them. It measures 29.25 in overall with a 2 in flange inlet and a 2.5 in flange outlet, bolts in without cutting or welding, and ships with one flange gasket.
