The Baja Pro XS is Mickey Thompson's extreme off road flotation tire, a symmetric directional design built for sand, mud and loose rock. Four ply nylon sidewall construction carries oversized Sidebiters and angled shoulder scallops that feed debris into mud scoops for cleaning, while Dual Decoupling Grooves let the tread flex over irregular surfaces. Mickey Thompson certifies the line D.O.T. for light and occasional highway use, so it is street legal but not intended as a daily highway tire. In 15/43-17LT it stands 42.3 in tall with an 18.3 in section width, carries 3,195 lbs at 40 psi on an 11.5 in measured rim, and runs 27/32 in of tread depth.
