The Pro Bracket Radial is Mickey Thompson's bracket and index drag tire, built as a radial rather than a bias ply so rolling resistance stays low and rollout stays consistent from tire to tire, which removes the need to match a pair. This size runs the X5 compound, which Mickey Thompson describes as a cooler running version of its M5 and places in the medium range of its hardness scale. Construction is tubeless, so no inner tube is required, and the tire weighs approximately 27 lb. It is a competition tire, not DOT certified and not for street use. Mickey Thompson also warns against rim screws on radial drag tires and against running them on a chassis dyno.
