This fan shroud features three high-flow 10-inch electric slim fans from Mishimoto that collectively provide a constant airflow of 950 CFM, irrespective of the engine speed. By replacing the stock AC fan and allowing two fans to cool the radiator, this fan shroud significantly improves airflow efficiency. The lightweight aluminum construction covers a larger area of the radiator compared to the stock fan shroud, ensuring better cooling performance.
In tests, the Mishimoto XJ Fan Shroud demonstrated a 41.9% improvement in airflow at idle and a 22% enhancement at 2,500 RPM compared to stock shrouds. By eliminating the heavy mechanical fan, this electric fan shroud reduces engine drag, resulting in enhanced horsepower and torque for off-road adventures.
The Mishimoto fan shroud can be manually activated with a switch (sold separately) or through an adjustable fan controller that conveniently mounts on the shroud. The controller allows you to set fan activation temperatures between 150F to 240F, optimizing the cooling performance.
