The Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit is a direct-fit upgrade for the S55-powered 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition. It uses the 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffle to separate oil from the crankcase vapors, protecting the intercooler, intake and VANOS system from blow-by and helping maintain octane to reduce detonation. A CNC-machined lid matches the inner dimension of the CCV hose, and the kit includes two direct-fit hoses that need no engine-cover modification plus a Yas Marina Blue color-matched billet aluminum bracket. Unlike heated AOS systems the can traps blow-by and keeps it out of the engine permanently.
