Mishimoto MMRT-E36-92EBK replaces the brittle factory plastic expansion tank, which cracks after years of heating and cooling cycles, with a fully TIG-welded aluminum tank finished in anodized black. A CNC-machined dipstick doubles as a bleeder so cold coolant level can be set correctly, and a Mishimoto 1.3 bar high-pressure radiator cap raises the coolant boiling point. The tank uses the factory mounting points, hardware and sensors, ships with an overflow hose and worm gear clamp, and installs in under an hour alongside either the stock fan shroud or the Mishimoto E36 Performance Fan Shroud Kit. It fits the S52, M52, M50TU and M20B25 six-cylinder engines and will not fit four-cylinder models.
