This performance intercooler is engineered to significantly improve cooling efficiency, ensuring optimal engine performance even under high load conditions. With high intake temperatures being a critical factor in engine performance, this intercooler is built to mitigate the risk of overheating, thus protecting engine integrity and enhancing overall efficiency. The robust construction features durable cast-aluminum end tanks designed to withstand high temperatures and boost pressures without cracking.
The core of the intercooler is a substantial 68mm-thick bar-and-plate design, which is 70-percent thicker than the stock unit, facilitating maximum cooling capability. With a reduction in restriction of over 64-percent compared to the original intercooler, airflow is significantly improved, leading to better performance metrics. The intercooler also includes larger inlet and outlet sizes, enhancing flow rates for improved air delivery.
Included with the intercooler is an adapter cold-side pipe featuring DuraCore™ boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps for secure installation. The design also allows for easy installation of additional sensors or water/meth injection through two additional bungs on the adapter pipe.
