Mishimoto's direct-fit oil cooler kit mounts a 25-row stacked plate liquid-to-air core behind the front bumper on an application-specific bracket, going a step beyond the factory liquid-to-liquid setup used on the LS3 and L99 V8. Preassembled stainless steel braided lines with AN fittings connect to a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum sandwich plate, supplied here in non-thermostatic form, and every fitting needed for the install ships in the box. Mishimoto measured a test proven 35 F drop in oil temperature with minimal pressure drop, so oil stays in range through long periods at full throttle.
