The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler for the 2012-2016 BMW F22/F30 chassis replaces the restrictive stock tube-and-fin unit with plastic end tanks that heat-soaks the N20, N26, and N55 engines. Its bar-and-plate core uses a 6-in thick stepped design with a 115-degree angled top section to add charge-air cooling without blocking other heat exchangers. On a stock-tune 2017 M2 test car it dropped intercooler outlet temperatures by 45F and added 10 whp and 8 wtq. Sold as the intercooler core only. Black finish.
