Wastegate Identification:

The electronic wastegate (EWG) replaced the pneumatic wastegate (PWG) on N55 engines starting in mid 2013. EWG engines have a small electric motor mounted on the turbocharger that controls wastegate position. PWG engines use a vacuum line and diaphragm. This downpipe is for EWG turbos only. If your N55 is from a 2011 to mid 2013 vehicle, you likely have a PWG turbo and need our N55 PWG downpipe instead.
