This NGK/NTK 5-wire wideband air-fuel ratio sensor is a direct-fit OE replacement for the Acura MDX. Unlike a switching oxygen sensor, the wideband element gives a linear output so the ECU can read exactly how rich or lean the engine is running and trim the air-fuel mixture continuously. It uses NTK ceramic construction with a contaminant-resistant overcoat to guard the element against poisoning.
