The ODS-AGM42A (PC1200LT) is an Odyssey Extreme powersport AGM battery built with pure lead plates to take the constant pounding of powersport use on land, sea or snow. It is rated at 540 CCA and 1200 PHCA (5 second pulse), holds 42 Ah (20 hr) and delivers 78 minutes of reserve capacity, with a rating of up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. The sealed, non-spillable case measures 7.8 x 6.5 x 7.5 in and weighs 38.2 lb. Terminals are SAE brass posts with 3/8 in threaded receptacles, with the positive terminal on the left. Operating range is -40°F to 113°F.

What warranty does it carry?

  • A limited 2 year warranty in North America. Warranty claims require battery test results from a local auto parts store.

What charger should I use?

  • For maintenance or trickle charging, use a charger with regulated output between 13.5V and 13.8V. Unregulated trickle chargers cause early battery failure.

Is there a hold-down kit for this battery?

  • Yes. The Odyssey HK-PC1200 brushed aluminum hold-down kit fits this battery. Hold-down kits fit only batteries without a metal jacket.

Is a metal jacket available?

  • Yes. Metal jacket 0207-9072 fits this battery and counteracts case expansion from high temperatures. In high temperature applications the battery warranty does not cover failures caused by not installing the metal jacket.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
  • Final sale: special orders, coilovers, electronics, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers and turbo kits, unless defective or we sent the wrong item.
