Designed for 2014–2016 Harley-Davidson Touring FLHx and FLTx models with Showa front forks, the Ohlins NIX 22 Cartridge Kit upgrades the front suspension by replacing the stock dampers with a race-inspired cartridge system. This kit delivers stable, predictable damping and enhanced rider comfort, translating to greater confidence on both highway straights and twisty roads. The NIX architecture splits performance between legs: compression damping in the left leg and rebound damping in the right leg for precise control and improved stability. Adjustments are made at the top, including spring preload, and the cartridge kit installs directly into the stock forks, providing a bolt-on, no-fabrication upgrade. Each kit is extensively tested and tailored to the bike’s characteristics to maximize handling feel and feedback for a broad range of riding styles.
