The PowerStop Autospecialty kit is the Z17 stock replacement package: everything the rear axle needs in one box rather than sourcing rotors, pads and hardware separately. It pairs Z17 Evolution Plus low dust ceramic pads with Autospecialty replacement rotors that are 100 percent mill balanced, and adds premium stainless steel hardware, dual layer rubberized shims and high temperature brake lubricant. The ceramic compound is the reason to pick it over a generic semi metallic pad: noticeably less wheel dust, quieter braking and a pedal feel close to the factory setup. These are non coated rotors; PowerStop's coated rotors are a separate Z17 kit.
