It comes with four grommets plus mounting clips and cable protection sleeves, which is what keeps the two-wire lead clear of the rotating hardware and the connector water tight. Installation needs no modification, and the sensor is tested at 500F to keep electrode conductivity stable rather than degrading into an intermittent warning light after a few thousand miles.
