Carbon-fiber ceramic Z23 pads raise the temperature ceiling over an OE ceramic compound, useful on a JK carrying heavier wheels and tires than it left the factory with. The 302mm (11.89 inch) front rotors are cross-drilled and slotted to vent heat and gas from the pad face and are zinc plated to slow surface rust on a vehicle that sees mud and salt. Dual-layer rubberized shims, stainless-steel abutment clips and hardware, and high-temperature ceramic brake lubricant are included. Installation is bolt-on to the factory calipers, and third-party on-vehicle testing measured about 30% less brake dust than OE.
