Multi-layer rubberized shims plus chamfered and slotted friction surfaces suppress noise, the powder coated backing plates resist rust and corrosion, and a thermally scorched surface speeds break-in. Positive mold technology keeps wear consistent, and stainless steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included.
