Z26 Extreme Street is PowerStop's Carbon-Fiber Ceramic compound tuned for street-driven muscle cars and performance vehicles, where the carbon fiber strengthens the friction material to hold bite under repeated hard stops. It separates from the Z23 pad by its multi-layer stainless-steel shims, which pull heat away from the piston face while keeping braking virtually noise-free. Positive mold technology gives consistent density and wear, chamfered and slotted edges cut resonance, and the powder coated backing plate resists rust and corrosion. The friction surface is thermally scorched for a fast break-in, and premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included.
