Z26 Extreme Street pads, sold by PowerStop as the Street Warrior line, use a Carbon-Fiber Ceramic compound mixed for muscle cars and performance cars that see hard street use, so the pad holds bite when a heavier stop loads it up. Multi-layer stainless-steel shims move heat away from the backing plate and keep the pad quiet, a stiffer arrangement than the rubberized shims on the street-focused Z23 line. Positive mold construction keeps the friction density even, powder-coated backing plates resist corrosion, and the pads are chamfered, slotted and thermally scorched for quiet braking and a fast break-in. Premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included.
