The Z26 Extreme Street pad is PowerStop's performance-oriented Carbon-Fiber Ceramic friction, formulated so the carbon fiber strengthens the compound and holds bite through repeated hard stops on street-driven performance cars. Its multi-layer stainless-steel shims are the structural difference from the Z23 pad, dissipating heat at the piston face while keeping the brakes virtually noise-free. Positive mold technology gives uniform friction density for consistent wear, and chamfered, slotted edges cut squeal. The powder coated backing plate resists rust and corrosion, the surface is thermally scorched for a fast break-in, and premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included.
