Z26 Extreme Street is PowerStop's most aggressive street ceramic, a Carbon-Fiber Ceramic compound built to hold torque on performance cars that brake hard from speed. Multi-layer stainless-steel shims replace the rubberized shims of the milder lines and pull heat out of the pad and caliper piston, which is what keeps pedal feel consistent across repeated stops. The friction material is positive molded for even wear, chamfered and slotted for quiet operation, and thermally scorched so the front set beds in fast. A powder coated backing plate resists corrosion, and premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are supplied with the pads.
