PowerStop's Z36 Truck & Tow kit combines Evolution fully coated rotors with Z36 carbon-fiber ceramic pads built for hauling, towing and off-road duty. The rotors are plain faced one-piece castings, neither drilled nor slotted, and carry genuine GEOMET coating across the whole casting including the hat, the edges and the inside of the cooling vanes, so the surfaces road salt normally attacks stay protected instead of just the swept face. The Z36 friction compound is formulated to hold bite under the heat of a loaded trailer or a long grade while keeping brake dust low, and dual-layer high-temp rubberized shims damp the noise that severe-duty pads can generate.
