The Z36 Truck & Tow kit runs PowerStop severe duty carbon-fiber reinforced ceramic pads against Evolution coated rotors on the CT5 rear axle. Despite the line name, the compound is a carbon-fiber ceramic rather than a metallic, so it holds up to sustained heavy braking without giving back the clean wheels and quiet operation a sedan owner expects. Rotors measure 315.2 mm across and 23.1 mm thick and are blank rather than drilled or slotted, with the coating carried through the casting and into the vanes to hold off corrosion. Premium stainless steel shims spread heat at the pad backing, and the kit ships with stainless steel hardware, a pin bushing kit and high temperature lubricant.
