Z36 Truck & Tow pads use a ceramic friction compound reinforced with carbon fiber, a severe-duty formula built for the heat that towing, hauling and trail work push into a truck brake system, and the low-dust output is validated by third-party on-vehicle testing. Multi-layer stainless-steel shims move heat away from the backing plate and damp the vibration that becomes brake squeal, while positive mold construction keeps the friction material wearing evenly. Backing plates are powder coated against rust and corrosion, and every pad is chamfered, slotted and thermally scorched for a fast break-in. Premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included.
