The Z36 Truck & Tow kit rebuilds the rear axle with 355 mm drilled and slotted zinc plated rotors and PowerStop's carbon-fiber reinforced ceramic Z36 pads, a compound formulated to carry the extra heat of towing, hauling, and long grades while running far cleaner than a semi-metallic pad. Cross-drilled holes and rounded slots hold rotor temperature down and clear gas, dust, and water off the pad face. Stainless steel shims tolerate the higher operating temperatures of heavy duty use, and the kit ships with stainless steel installation hardware, a pin bushing kit, and high-temperature ceramic lubricant, so the job is bolt-on with no modification to the stock brakes.
