This rear kit ships with red powder coated calipers, so a seized or leaking caliper gets replaced in the same job as the pads and rotors instead of on a second trip. Z36 Truck & Tow carbon-fiber ceramic pads carry a friction coefficient about 17% higher than OEM for towing, hauling and long grades, and the 13.58 in rotors are drilled, slotted and zinc plated to vent gas and shed heat. Stainless-steel shims resist the heat soak common on severe-duty work, and premium stainless-steel hardware plus hi-temp ceramic brake lubricant are included for a bolt-on installation.
