The Z36 Truck & Tow kit is a complete rear axle brake upgrade built for trucks, 4x4s and SUVs that tow, haul or run heavy. Carbon fiber reinforced Z36 ceramic pads add bite and heat capacity over a plain ceramic compound while keeping dust down, and PowerStop cites third party on vehicle testing in Los Angeles that measured roughly 30% less dust than OE. They run against drilled and slotted zinc plated rotors that shed heat on long mountain descents and resist rust. The kit also brings red high temperature powder coated calipers, stainless steel pad shims that hold up to heavy duty temperatures, stainless installation hardware and high temperature ceramic brake lubricant, and it bolts on with no modifications to the stock brakes.
