Z36 Truck & Tow is PowerStop's severe-duty Carbon-Fiber Ceramic compound, mixed for three-quarter and one-ton trucks that spend their life under a trailer or a loaded bed. Multi-layer stainless-steel shims spread heat off the backing plate and hold the pad quiet when the rear axle is doing real work, and positive mold construction keeps friction density even so the pad wears flat rather than tapering. The plates are powder coated against rust and corrosion, the pads are chamfered and slotted for noise-free braking, and the surface is thermally scorched for a fast break-in. Premium stainless-steel hardware and ceramic brake lubricant are included with the set.
