Red Line 0W40 is a fully synthetic, ester-based high-performance motor oil with a high-ZDDP anti-wear package and strong high-temperature film strength, while flowing better at extremely cold temperatures than a 5W40 or 10W40. Suitable for VW/Audi 502 00/503 01/505 00/500 00, BMW LL-01, Porsche A40, and Mercedes-Benz 229.5/229.3; popular in late four-stroke snowmobiles and used in Dodge Viper and later Chrysler (MS-10725).
