Skunk2 MLS (Multiple Layer Steel) head gasket is the proven choice for high-performance engines. Multiple steel layers plus an HR-180 fluoroelastomer rubber coating give excellent flange conformability and superior sealing against the increased power and vibration of a built motor, heat-resistant to 250 C (482 F). The stopper design sandwiches extra material between layers to seal reliably even where there is minimal surface around the combustion chamber, such as on overbored cylinders. Laser-welded, plastic-resin coated.
