The Ultra is a double shell fiberglass laminate bucket weighing about 5.2 kg, homologated to FIA 8855-1999 under number CS.499.22. Sparco designs its ergonomics for use without padding, so the shell itself carries the driver, and shapes it narrow to suit tight cockpits. It mounts using Sparco side mount brackets, sold separately. A carbon fiber version of the same seat is offered under part number 008037ZNR.
