The ST X coilover kit is an application-specific, ride-height-adjustable suspension for the 2015-2020 Volkswagen GTI MKVII (without DCC). Built by hand at KW in Fichtenberg, Germany, it uses galvanized zinc-coated steel struts with a hardened chrome piston rod and a friction-optimized polyamide composite spring perch with a stainless-steel insert for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant height adjustment. Springs and non-adjustable dampers are tuned by ST's vehicle-dynamics engineers for a sporty yet comfortable everyday ride, and each damper is shock-dyno tested before it ships.
