The Walbro MP-12 is a dead end multi-point in-tank fuel pickup with a single 5/16 inch fitting, so it terminates the fuel line rather than passing fuel through to another pickup. A 70 micron mesh screens the fuel and holds a film of fuel when the pickup is uncovered, sealing it so the pump does not draw air in fuel cells, rock crawler tanks and other unbaffled tanks. With no bleed hole, it suits systems that will never run dry. Each pickup flows up to about 40 gal/hr, measures just under 3 inches across and 2 inches tall, and is tested to minus 40 F in gasoline and 0 F in diesel. The mesh must be wetted with fuel once before it will seal.
