Description
This caliper kit serves as a direct bolt-on replacement for factory single calipers found in many GM passenger vehicles and trucks from 1968 to 1996. It enhances braking performance with its two-piston design, providing improved responsiveness and reduced weight. The forged billet aluminum construction ensures superior durability, while stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals minimize the risks of rust and seal failure typically associated with original equipment designs.
Designed for low maintenance, this component is suitable for both street and track applications. It maintains the original front-to-rear brake bias and remains compatible with the OE master cylinder by providing 6.28 square inches of piston area per caliper. This assembly mounts in the stock position over existing rotors and utilizes original-style D52 brake pads and a standard 7/16-20 banjo bolt brake line mounting.
