This caliper kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the original equipment calipers on Corvettes manufactured between 1965 and 1982. Constructed from forged billet aluminum, it offers superior durability and resistance to rust, bore pitting, and seal failures commonly associated with factory designs. The inclusion of stainless steel pistons and high-temperature seals enhances reliability under extreme conditions, making it suitable for both street and track applications.
With a significant weight reduction compared to stock components, this kit is engineered to improve overall vehicle performance. It mounts in the stock location over original rotors and utilizes original style brake pads. The calipers fit within most '67 and newer production wheels, although some may require a 3/16" spacer for adequate clearance, particularly the 1965-66 OE "JK" code steel wheels and certain aftermarket alloy wheels.
