Wilwood's Tactical Extreme TX6R front big brake kit pairs a six-piston radial-mount caliper with a 16.00in by 1.50in GT-60 curved vane rotor in Spec-37 iron, machined with the GT slot pattern to sweep gas and debris off the pad face. Caliper bore staging of 2.00in, 1.88in and 1.88in gives 8.70 sq in of piston area, and the calipers are volume matched to the factory power brake output so pedal travel and effort stay close to stock. BP-Q compound pads on a 10120 plate carry 12.69 sq in of pad area for sustained high heat duty. Radial mount caliper brackets, black e-coat aluminum rotor hats and the mounting hardware are included; the kit needs a 20in minimum wheel diameter, and braided stainless steel flex lines are required on some applications.
