Magnetic Oil Drain Plugs

A drain plug does more than seal the oil pan. A magnetic drain plug has a strong magnet in its tip that collects fine steel particles from normal engine wear, keeping that debris out of circulation and giving you a quick look at internal health at every oil change. Heavy buildup on the magnet is an early warning worth investigating.

We carry Mishimoto magnetic oil drain plugs in a black finish across common thread sizes, including M12 x 1.25, M12 x 1.5 for BMW, M12 x 1.75, M14 x 1.25, M14 x 1.5, M16, M18 and M20 x 1.5. For Honda and Acura owners, we also stock Skunk2 magnetic drain plug sets, including a titanium M14 x 1.5 set.
