Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tanks

The expansion tank holds coolant as it expands with heat and returns it as the engine cools, keeping the system full and at the right pressure. Factory plastic tanks become brittle with age and heat cycling and can crack without warning, which can drain coolant fast. An aluminum tank is stronger, holds up to heat, and cleans up the look of the engine bay.

This collection is focused on AMS Performance aluminum tanks. For the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 with the VR30 twin turbo engine, we carry the Red Alpha coolant expansion tank and the Red Alpha auxiliary intercooler tank for the water to air intercooler circuit. For the Nissan GT-R R35, we stock the AMS Alpha aluminum coolant expansion tank kit.
