Sealants, Thread Sealer & Heat Coatings

Sealants and protective coatings keep fluids where they belong and shield metal and body panels from heat and noise. A proper thread sealer prevents leaks and galling on fasteners that pass into fluid passages, while high temperature coatings and spray sound deadeners protect surfaces under the hood and make the cabin quieter on the road.

We carry ARP Teflon Thread Sealer, used on studs and bolts that thread into coolant or oil passages so they seal without seizing and still torque accurately. From DEI we stock ATAC Thermal Acoustic Coating by the gallon, ATAC Red Oxide Primer as a latex metal sealer, HT Silicone Coating in aluminum for high temperature parts like exhaust and headers, Boom Mat Spray-On Sound Deadener for hard to reach panels, and Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive for installing heat shield and insulation materials.
