Shifter Bushings: SPL Bronze Linkage Bushings

Shifter bushings locate the shift linkage and let it pivot. On older cars the factory rubber bushings soften, tear and compress, which adds slop to the lever, blurs the gates and makes it easier to miss a shift. Replacing them with a firmer bushing takes the play out of the linkage and gives a tighter, more precise feel without changing the shifter itself.

Right now we stock the SPL Parts bronze shifter bushings for the 1990 to 1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32). Bronze is a self lubricating bearing material, so it removes the free play of worn rubber while still letting the linkage move smoothly, and it will not break down with heat and age the way rubber does.
